The Banking Method or Farming Search & Destroy Missions

But be warned, the Search & Destroy missions are subject to change at any time and I know of several members who lost almost every unit they had on the S&Ds. In addition to that it has been verified that the interest of the bank can vary significantly. So be very careful not to lose all of your troops there and starve!
If you cannot be bothered with all that, then at least do the following:
Only make low level troops and feed them into the top level Search and Destory missions: Radar > Zheng Shi Forces. You will eventually get a payout of higher level units which you then send to the MC. Make and send in like 50 Sappers at a time to the highest ZHG mission you have, sooner or later you should get a payout. You can do this until S&D level 20 or so. At that point, you might want make Heavy Snipers instead of Sappers, since they are a lot better. This is not the best way to do S&D and sooner or later you might just realise that there is no way around the Banking Method! Come to Dolby and learn how to build a huge army today!

Plarium has revised and updated S&D game play on Soldier Inc. There are currently more missions to select from, more frequent small payouts and you can now see the amount of troops outstanding in an O mission (previously only available for D missions). There are pros and cons to these change, but one thing for certain you should adapt and change your approach to get the best out of S&D.
Firstly, from our test shows no change in banking method and 13% interest threshold still works. However, test results remain inconclusive if you should add the small payouts back into your bank (sometimes they are too small to be meaningful).
For these reasons, you are encourage to avoid small payout and instead leave as many missions at 1-2 bars as possible while paying your bank. They will function as backup mission, in case your targeted payout mission does not payout as expected.
How to take advantage of the new system: It is now possible to tell with (high degree of certainty), when your account is ready for a big payout. This is a good advantage considering S&D sometimes payout early (typically from the moment you payoff 70% of your bank) or late (may go up to 25% interest or multiple times your bank). This signal allows you to hit your targeted payout mission at the right time and avoid loosing more troops than you have to.
How do you test if you are ready for a payout? : Hit the lowest few mission on your radar (typically a Level 1-20) and see if you get a full payout. A full payout is typically 3.8x - 5.5x the force needed to clear that level. If you achieved a full payout but remain sceptical, you can proceed to hit the next lowest mission to see if the result continues. IF two full payout is achieved consecutively, highly likely your account is ready.
* Example, on the ZHG force chart, level 10 is stated at 1,110. A full payout will be anything between (4,200 - 6,100 force value). A non full payout may just be 10 sapper (200 force value).
The new recommended approach:
(1) Payoff your bank without (or minimize) killing mission and make multiple backup mission at 1 bar
(2) Start testing for full-payout after paying 70-80% of your bank. Continue paying your bank till the test show positive results. New low level S&D mission may appear each day after reset, so you can test daily or weekly depending how fast you pay your bank.
(3) Hit your targeted payout mission (typically the 2nd highest D or O mission on your radar)
S&D is created to have certain amount of randomness and this approach does not guarantee success but does manage your downside risk.
